CAMPING VACATION AWAY FROM CAMPING

We ventured to the Colorado rockies for a camping trip with Grandma and Papa Green and Unc Dale and Ava. Dusty and Melody had a great time hangin with their cousin Ava. They got to catch their first trout and went hiking. I have never seen my children so dirty! Me, J.D., and Dale went on a white water rafting trip down the Colorado river...highly recommend it!

HOME, HOME ON THE RANGE

Well, weve been living here on the range for a month now but still no home construction. We do have septic, water, and electricity now! Wish we would have known to go with rural banker to begin with due to lack of comparative appraisals. This has definitely been an adventure. We have killed two rattle snakes stumbled upon while walking, but have decided to hold off on walks for awhile. J.D. killed a coyote one night after pack was surrounding camper wanting to devour our family pets. This has been a great family bonding experience due to close courters. Its been really easy potty training Melody. Dustin and Melody are having a great time catching frogs on a daily basis and going on now nightly rattlesnake roundups on the 4wheeler. I also didnt realize how much fun bird watching is, the Avocets and Meodowlarks are great fun to watch. My priorities and hobbies have definitely changed and for the better. The kids and us have made some great friends in town and I am really going to enjoy living here.
