Saber was the best dog a person could ask for. You could never talk to much to her about what was on your mind... she was all ears. J.D. will miss her the most, he put alot of time into training her and she was like another daughter to him. I remember taking her to the river in Glenrose and even to California to see Mindy. She was part of the family. She had some cute german shepard puppies too!!! She has been deteriorating the last month with hip diplasia, and it would have been selfish to keep her around any longer in pain. She will be missed and never replaced!

CEDAR CREEK LAKE
Tara's mom Beth gets a cabin on cedar creek lake annually, and the whole family goes down to fish, cookout, and hangout. We had a great time this year even though it was cold and rainy most of the time. Dustin wanted to fish the entire day with his spider man fishing pole. He has way more patience then I do, and finally he started bringing in the fish.

"I'M NOT A COW, I'M A BOY"

Dustin and Melody were riding in the back of the truck when Melody started moooing at the cows outside the window like she does frequently. Dustin turns to Melody and exclaims "I've told you three times... I'm not a cow, I'm a boy!!" Finding the agravation entertaining Melody continued to mooo with a devious smirk on her face. Dustin continued to try to convince her that he is not a cow, but a boy and too stop mooing at him, but she was having way too much fun to stop.

FISHING ON LAKE FORK
For our 5th anniversary we went on a fishing trip to Lake Fork. Dusty and Mely stayed with Grandma and Papa while we hit the water. The weather did not cooperate one bit, but we toughed it out panchos and all. J.D. caught 4 large mouth bass; the largest being 5 lbs. I was a little less fortunate catching a channel cat and perch. No matter what the fishing reports said we found that live bait such as frogs caught in our boat, lizards on our porch and something called a water dog worked the best. I had it all planned out to spend our anniversary going to a nice dinner with dancing at what they called the "billy bobs of east texas." On arrival I felt like I was straight out of the movie Urban Cowboy. Its never good when the waitress brings your dinner and asks you to break open your catfish to make sure its cooked b/c "they've had some problems with that earlier today." Needless to say I stuck with my curly fries and hushpuppies.

EASTER AT GRANDMA'S AND PAPA'S
We spent the day at Grandma's and Papa's easter egg hunting and playing in the sandbox. We had a wonderful lunch and ate an easter basket cake.
